DiSC® is a personal assessment tool used by more than one million people every year to help improve teamwork, communication, and productivity in the workplace.

iSC helps us to better understand behavioral tendencies in ourselves and other people.  Once people understand these behavioral styles, they can work more effectively with others individually and in teams. In particular, an understanding of these tendencies helps build trust. The DiSC provides a profile of each team members primary style. The profile dimensions are:

  • Dominance – focuses on moving fast, taking action and solving problems
  • Influence – focuses on people, having fun and liking each other
  • Steadiness – focuses on patience, persistence, and calm listening
  • Conscientiousness– focuses on structure, rules, and procedures

Learning more about your own style and the style of your team members allows you to capitalize on the diverse strengths of your team. You’ll understand how you respond to other styles and how to have more productive interactions with all personality types. You will be able to communicate more effectively and motivate team members.
